About Spiral Backpackers Hostel Northbridge

At Spiral  we aim to provide a clean and safe environment whilst creating a meeting place for like-minded travellers in a fun and chilled atmosphere.

We hope that our love of travel and variety of experiences have helped create a place where you can make new friends and feel comfortable for however long you stay with us.

We are located in the heart of Northbridge, Perth’s main entertainment district with its uncountable bars, clubs, restaurants, museums and art galleries such as the Art Gallery of WA and the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Location

Based right inside the Perth Free Transit Zone, you can catch the Blue CAT on our front door. We are only a 10 minute walk to Perth railway station and bus port. We are on the doorstep of Perth’s CBD where you can find endless shops and malls and a stone’s throw from central attractions such as Elizabeth Quay and King’s Park Botanical Garden.

We offer reasonable sized rooms all with bunk beds. We provide bed linen. All rooms have centrally controlled air conditioning. Each has a skylight and is well ventilated, but due to building design the rooms do not have windows. We have a large kitchen with walk in fridge. Washing machines and dryers are available.

In addition to this we also offer free wifi, playstation, Wii, free pool table, free Netflix. We have free drinks vouchers for several of the best bars and clubs in town.

At Spiral we like variety, check out our what’s app or board at reception for different social events.

Guest agreement/ Spiral terms and conditions.

Cancellation policy: No cancellation or refund for change of mind after booking or during your stay with us. All booking with same name will be charge on the first day of your arrival, regardless of multiple separate bookings placed in consecutive days.

You will need to provide a passport on arrival. If you do not have a valid passport we may not be able to complete your check in.

Reception is open from 9am- 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9.am-4pm Sundays / Checking  24h available. (After 5pm on week-day and 4pm on weekend)

Check out time is 10am. For check out outside of reception hours ask our friendly reception staff for information on this process.

For check in outside of reception times, you will received on a day after reception closing an email to check in instruction and informations. You will have to see the reception the next morning to finalise your booking. All stay for 1 night only will be confirm after payment received only. Make sure that you have sufficient funds on your card otherwise you won’t receive instruction.  You will need to provide a passport on arrival. If you do not have a valid passport we may not be able to complete your check in. If you stay only one day and late checking, please send us a copy of your passport prior your arrival.

We accept payment by card or cash. A valid debit/ credit card is required for deposit.

Each bed has an allocated locker. We can provide padlocks for purchase. Please make use of these to keep your valuables safe as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost or stolen property. If you change bed without reception approval you will be charge an extra night.

We provide bed sheets, pillow, blanket and on demand towels.

We are a non-smoking / vaping hostel. There is a designated smoking area to the rear of the building only. We will not tolerate smoking by our guests inside or at the front of the building. If you continue to do this when asked not to you will be asked to leave the property with no refund.

We do not tolerate drug use. If you are caught using drugs or appear to be under the influence of drugs you will be asked to leave immediately.

We allow you to bring in your own alcohol, but any aggressive or anti-social behaviour related to this will also lead to you being asked to leave immediately.
If you have a sleeping bag, or blanket we ask that you do not use this while staying at Spiral as we are bugs free and safety of our guest is a priority.

Reception and common areas close at 11pm. After this time, we ask that you keep noise at a reasonable level in consideration of other guests.
